A leánynevelés azon ágáról óhajtják nézetünket ismerni, amely a női test épségére és általános egészségére vonatkozik? Ám legyen. Szívesen adjuk meg válaszunkat még akkor is , ha vele némely tekintetben ellentétbe jövünk a most uralkodó általános nézetekkel, mert mi a nők létezésének célját és rendeltetését Fodor J.-vel egyenesen abban találjuk, hogy megkívánt szép nő boldogító feleség és arra termett anya váljék belőle. A leánynevelés, meggyőződésünk szerint, jelenleg helytelen irányban leledzik, miután a fősúly, úgy mint a fiúknál, csaknem kizárólag az értelem fejlesztésére van fektetve; a test, kedély és szív nevelését pedig majdnem egészen el szokták hanyagolni, holott az "ép testben, ép lélek" elve mindenkor érvényes örök igazság marad. Ne feledjük, hogy a szép testű, erős és egészséges szervezetű nő mint feleség és anya öröme lesz a férjnek és éltetője nemzedékének; a vékonyka, ideges kisasszonykából ájuldozó feleség és oly összetört anya, ki már első gyermeke után betegeskedő, ideges, fürdőző, magával és másokkal elégedetlen, zsémbes nővé válik. Ezzel azonban nem azt akarjuk mondani, hogy a lányok iskoláztatása felesleges, sőt ellenkezőleg, mi megkívánjuk, hogy az iskola a leány lelkét és eszét a család javára s örömére kiművelje, de azt is megköveteljük, hogy az ne rontsa meg benne a nőt, a feleséget vagy a leendő anyát. A sok tudomány és tanulmány alighanem többet árt, mint használ a nők lelkületében, mert regényes hajlamúvá, utazásra, szórakozásra és feltünésre vágyakozóvá teszi, anélkül, hogy az a sok tudomány a feleségnek és anyának hasznára válnék. A zene, rajz, festészet, szépművészetek és az ún. női munkák annyira elvonják a lányokat a szabad mozgás élvezetétől a háziasság, testi ügyesség és gazdasszonykodás megszerzésének rovására, hogy éppen nem áll arányban az ott nyert középszerűség az itt elvesztett szükségességgel. Fel kell tehát találni a helyes irányt, mely nélkül célszerű nevelés úgy a fiúknál, mint a lányoknál nem képzelhető és amely intézetnek legjobban sikerülni fog azon irányt programul megállapítatni az lesz a legjobb, mert vele legtöbbet használ a családnak, a társadalomnak és a hazának.

Do you wish to know our opinion about that state of girls education, referes to the women's body health and general health? Let it be. You're welcome with our answer even 'tho it goes front with today's regnal popular theories, because we see the reason for female existance and meaning along with J. Fodor straight in that the desirable woman becomes a happy wife, and a mother indeed. Girls education, to best of our belief, nowadays is going to the wrong direction, because of the main thing, like with boys, almost only set on the innovate of the sence; the body, the cheer and the soul's educations are almost perfectly neglected; but after all "a sound mind in a sound body" principle shall always remain an eternal trouth. Let's not forget that a woman with beautiful body, strong and helthy organism will become the joy of her husband and the vital of her generation; the slim, nerveous little lady will be a fainting wife and souch a broken mother, who after the birth of her first child will become sick, nerveous, bath taking, unfit with herself and others, ends up as a waspy woman. But we are not trying to say with this, that educating girls is unwanted, but quite the opposite, we think that school should educate the soul and mind of the girl for the joy and for the good of the family, but we also require that school doesn't spoil within her the female, the wife or the mother of the future. All the knowledge and studies might take more harm than use within the soul of women, because they make them become romantic aptituded, urge them for traveling, having fun and the desire to make a stir without all the knowledge would become useful for the wife or the mother. Music, drawing, painting and fine arts and the so called female works take away so much from young girls, enjoying free moving at the expense of being domestic, slick movements and housekeeper that it doesn't come out equal with what we win with the middle-classness on the first hand, with what we loose on the other hand with the needed. We must invent the right direction, without that subservient education as for boys and as for girls is unthinkable and which institute shall manage this better we will take that direction as promoted, this will be the best, because it will be the most useful for the family, society and country.
